Description
Kershaw 1870 Knockout has a unique and innovative locking mechanism. Kershaw has "knocked out" a portion of the anodized aluminum handle to inset a stainless steel plate. The now patented sub-frame lock means this knife has a lightweight aluminum handle, yet the solid lock-up found in a frame lock.
Features a plain edge, stonewash Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel blade that has a flipper for quick access. A gentle nudge to the flipper when the knife is in the closed position activates the SpeedSafe assisted opening mechanism to fully open the blade. Fitted with a quad carry stainless steel pocket clip, designed to ride low in the pocket for discreet carry.
